Therapy Services
Online therapy for individuals & Couples
Working Together
I offer online counseling (telehealth) sessions in 60- or 90-minute appointments using the secure video platform SimplePractice, which is confidential and HIPAA-compliant.
For many people, telehealth is a convenient, flexible, and effective alternative to in-person sessions. Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person treatment for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. It also eliminates travel time and makes it easier to access care for those with busy schedules, mobility limitations, or who live in rural communities.
To participate, you’ll need a reliable internet connection, a private space, and a computer, tablet, or smartphone. While telehealth is appropriate for many individuals, it may not be the best option during a mental health crisis or for certain conditions that require in-person care.
If you’re unsure whether telehealth is the right fit, I’m happy to discuss your needs and help determine the most appropriate treatment approach.
how it works
The Process
Our first one or two sessions focus on getting to know you. We’ll explore your current concerns, your personal and mental health history, and the goals you’d like to achieve through therapy. I also provide education along the way to help you better understand your symptoms and the factors contributing to them.
Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan based on your unique needs, strengths, and goals. I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and existential therapy—to tailor treatment as your needs evolve.
My goal is to provide a collaborative, supportive environment where you can reduce distress, build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Areas of Expertise & Treatment
Trauma Therapy
I have specialized training and extensive experience helping people recover from both recent and past traumatic experiences. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals affected by many forms of trauma, including physical or sexual assault, combat and military incidents, accidents, the loss of a loved one, childhood abuse or neglect, bullying, divorce, abandonment, and other overwhelming life events.
Understanding Trauma
Trauma is not defined only by what happened—it's also about how your mind and body continue to respond after the event. When traumatic experiences are poorly processed, the nervous system can stay stuck in survival mode, contributing to anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, intrusive memories, avoidance, physical symptoms, and a persistent sense of feeling on edge or disconnected.
Common Signs of Trauma You May Be Experiencing:
Intrusive memories, flashbacks, nightmares, or unwanted thoughts
Anxiety, hypervigilance, or feeling constantly on edge
Avoidance of people, places, or situations associated with the trauma
Depression, irritability, or emotional overwhelm
Feeling numb, disconnected, or detached
Difficulty concentrating or regulating emotions
Physical symptoms such as headaches, chronic pain, or gastrointestinal problems
Shame, guilt, self-criticism, or difficulty trusting others
Effective Trauma Treatment
Trauma symptoms are responsive to treatment. Evidence-based therapies can help your brain and body process traumatic experiences so they no longer interfere with your daily life.
I am a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist with advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I tailor treatment to your individual needs, goals, and pace. Together, we'll reduce distress, strengthen coping skills, restore a sense of safety, and help you move forward with greater resilience and confidence.
I provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other trauma-focused therapies through secure online telehealth sessions, allowing you to access effective, evidence-based treatment from the comfort and privacy of your home.
